Take an 8-minute gondola ride from Banff to Sulphur Mountain, then explore the Above Banff Interpretive Center, rooftop deck, and boardwalk to Sanson’s Peak. Visit Casa Loma at your own pace with a one-day entry ticket that includes the Sir Henry Pellatt documentary, historic rooms, towers, gardens, tunnel exhibits, vintage cars, and film galleries. Use the optional English audio guide, stop at the café, and allow two to three hours for the full visit.

Meet at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre for an Ice Explorer ride onto the 25,000-year-old Athabasca Glacier, with live English commentary from guides such as Andy, Kulvinder, and Morgan. You get about 20 minutes on the ice, then ride a shuttle to the glass-bottom Skywalk, where you can take your time above the Sunwapta Valley.
“It is a great itinerary. Jasper National Park is a long road from Calgary so all of the lake stops are great to break up the trip. I would suggest doing the Icefield adventure but at 2pm and not 2:30 as they suggest. To get it all in needs extra time so as to not be late for bus departures. Gorgeous! Worth the whole 12 hours and big bucks to walk on the glacier.”

Spend a full day exploring 27 acres of coastal rainforest at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Cross the 450-foot bridge above the Capilano River, test yourself on the glass-sided Cliffwalk, and follow Treetops Adventure through the forest canopy. Prebook your self-guided visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, about 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Cross the 230-foot bridge, follow seven treetop bridges, tackle the Cliffwalk, and explore First Nations displays and forest paths. Visit Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada beside Toronto’s Union Station with flexible entry on your booked date. Arrive before 11 AM or after 3 PM for lighter crowds, or choose Sharks After Dark after 5 PM.

Ride La Grande Roue de Montréal in Old Port for roughly 20 minutes and three full rotations in a climate-controlled gondola. From 60 meters up, you can see Old Montreal, downtown, Mont-Royal, and the Saint Lawrence River. Entry is flexible for seven days, and the wheel operates in rain, snow, and sunshine.

Ride the 175-foot Niagara SkyWheel from Clifton Hill in an enclosed, climate-controlled gondola. Your 8 to 12-minute trip offers views of Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, the Niagara River, and the lights of Clifton Hill. English audio narration is available, and the wheel is wheelchair accessible.
“Great experience! Took us on about 4-5 spins including the first one. Parking is $20 right next to the SkyWheel and you have to show your digital tickets in order to get paper tickets from the booth (i feel like this is a waste of paper and defeats the purpose of pre-ordering for convenience since I had to wait in line when I essentially already had tickets). Wait was 30 minutes for about 15 minutes but the view was worth it.”
Enter OASIS Immersion inside Montreal’s Palais des Congrès for a self-guided visit through colorful projection galleries. Choose one rotating show, such as Root for Nature, AMPLIFIED, or The Immersive Carnival of the Animals. Allow 60 to 90 minutes, wear a light sweater, and expect some waiting at busy times.

We also loved that there was no time constraint so we were able to spend as much time as we wanted looking at everything. Wonderful experience and a great way to spend time during a blizzard!”
Visit Vancouver Lookout at 555 W. Hastings Street for one-time admission and sweeping 360-degree views from high above downtown. The exterior glass elevator reaches the top in about 40 seconds. Take your time with the viewing deck, information panels, and complimentary audio tour. Bring headphones, and arrive by 5:30 PM for the final ride up.

Ride the Skyride or Blue Grouse Gondola from Vancouver to Grouse Mountain in seven minutes. Enjoy panoramic views, grizzly bears, lumberjack and bird shows, snowshoe trails, skating, guided eco-walks, and dining. The $64 ticket covers many activities, while zip lines, ropes courses, equipment, food, and parking cost extra.

At the Greg Frewin Theatre near Clifton Hill, you’ll watch International Grand Champion Greg Frewin and Canada’s Lady of Magic, Alexandra, perform 90 minutes of grand illusions, sleight-of-hand, audience interaction, and animal acts. Choose show-only or add the optional buffet dinner. The 550-seat theatre is wheelchair accessible and suited to couples, families, and groups.
