Half-Day Trip to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré from Quebec city

1.Half-Day Trip to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré from Quebec city

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 2,718 reviews · 4 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $70Our pick

Travel by coach from Old Quebec to Montmorency Falls, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica, Île d’Orléans, Albert Gilles Copper Art, and a local chocolatier. Guides such as Martin and Daniel add history and humor. The four-and-a-half-hour route covers a lot, but time at the falls and basilica can feel short.

“Even though the tour says it’s to visit the falls we went there last and late in the day when the sun had set during the winter so very little light. I don’t know why we didn’t go there first or at least leave earlier in the day instead of 12:30 since the tour we took is during the winter with early sunset. Also a little concerning that the guide was also the driver. No sure how safe it is to have a driver of a big bus to also act as a guide. We had no issues but it was a little concerning.”

Guides such as Jeff, Jean Francois, Celine, and Dan combine French and English commentary with local stories. You will have about 45 to 60 minutes at the falls, including time for the footbridge and photos.

“We thought that this was a walking tour followed by a bus tour. As a result, we were looking for a tour guide at the park. The dot icon showing in both Google Maps and Apple Maps is in the park, not the bus lane across the street. Please update your location description to put that people are to meet a bus in the bus lane with the bus’ name. Please also adjust the maps’ icon. Once someone called us at 9:53, we saw the bus. We were standing in the park across from it, crossed and then got on. The tour guide was charming, knowledgeable, and friendly.”
