Peggy’s Cove, Mohane Bay and Lunenburg 5hrs private tour.

3.Peggy’s Cove, Mohane Bay and Lunenburg 5hrs private tour.

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 12 reviews · 5 hours (approx.)

Travel by private air-conditioned vehicle from Halifax to Peggy’s Cove, the Swissair Flight 111 Memorial, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg. Your English, Hindi, or Gujarati-speaking driver provides a narrated ride and photo stops. The five-hour route is best for small groups, but time in Lunenburg and Mahone Bay is brief.

“Mr. Zuber is very nice and has great communication always making sure you know where to be and when. This is a nice tour that gives you a sampling of each place. It would be nice to have a little bit longer at each stop but our ship was not in port long enough to take a longer tour. If you have only 5 hours perhaps skip Mahone Bay (even though it is nice) and just go to Peggy’s Cove for maybe an hour and then maybe you would have an hour at Lunenburg which is really nice. It is quite a drive from the cruise port to these sites…”

4.Private Guided Tour: Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg & Ovens

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 9 reviews · 8 hours (approx.)

Travel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle from Halifax with a guide such as Ziyan, Aamir, Zihan, or Saeid. See Peggy’s Cove lighthouse, Mahone Bay, UNESCO-listed Lunenburg, and Ovens Park’s sea caves. The route is scenic but spread out, so expect several hours on the road and plan lunch carefully.

“This is a good tour if you want to see a lot in one day. We would have liked to stay and explore Lunenburg a bit longer, but ran short of time (mostly because the restaurant we chose for lunch was busy and service slow). Zihan was kind enough to keep us out an extra hour for a small fee. We also shouldn’t have lingered so long at the first stop, Peggy’s Cove. But all in all it was a lovely day. Zihan was super nice and relaxed, and knew the answers to most of our questions.”
